Feast & Fettle Cambridge is the third brick-and-mortar retail location and the flagship store of the viral online premade meal kit company. The retail space draws strong inspiration from the domestic kitchen environment, reinforcing Feast & Fettle’s core mission: to deliver the experience of home-cooked meals made for family.
Unlike traditional retail stores or supermarkets, where items are spread across multiple aisles, everything customers need is arranged along a single, continuous path for a simple and seamless shopping experience. This path is then folded into the space, taking the form of kitchen walls and cabinets.
Cabinets and counter that greet customers, niche for shopping basket, bag return are consolidated at the beginning part of the strip.
The condiment station on the left is designed as a cabinet integrating trash bins, microwave shelving, and utensil drawers, with additional shelves for plants that filter natural daylight.
