This remodeling project for a buffet-style hot pot restaurant focused on several key design challenges:
Managing Heat & Moisture – With 220 individual hot pots in action, a well-designed HVAC system was essential. We balanced performance and efficiency to keep the air fresh and comfortable without driving up operational costs.
Creating a Cozy Yet Festive Atmosphere – While the restaurant has a large, energetic dining area, we wanted to ensure customers still feel cozy and at ease when they return to their seats. To achieve this, we designed several partition styles using affordable, readily available materials that meet code requirements while also enhancing the space’s warmth and character.
Ensuring a Smooth Flow for Customers & Staff – Moving between the buffet and tables should feel natural and enjoyable for diners. At the same time, servers with large carts need clear pathways and discreet storage areas to keep operations running smoothly.
